Don't Do It Yourself | Oregon City Somethings are better left to professionals, your remodel may be one of them. If you're uncertain about what walls in your home are load-bearing,  stop, drop the sledgehammer and call a licensed, INSURED general contractor. If you didn't know already, some walls in your house (called curtain walls) are just there to separate the space into rooms. Other walls, (load bearing) are there to hold your house up. There's a lot of information online on how to tell the difference between the two, maybe you've reviewed a lot of it. What you may not have reviewed are the many panicked message board posts from people who eschewed hiring a contractor, consulted the internet and removed the wrong wall.

Full Siding & Windows  Cedar shingles are being installed in gables.

New Siding Project We finished foundation and framing  on this project roofing has also been completed and are now working on siding.  First step is installing the vapor barrier wrap.

Exterior Remodel Condor steps are now finished just in time for the family arrive on the Holidays.  The new concrete steps also have new handrails.

Brightwood New Home Project! Preparing to pour the concrete foundation...  Finished foundation.  The main floor joists and walls .  Exterior walls are going up. Interior walls almost done. A beautiful picture of our rafters beams installed.  Ready to start our hand cut roofing!   Our bare exterior walls.  The shell of the home is almost complete minus final siding and windows being installed!  More pictures to come!
