Kid's rooms may look like they're dictated by fun and whimsy, but when done right- it's all about well-planned, carefully thought out uses of space. 

The "perfect" room for a child should give equal measure to function, safety and personal style. A toddler's room is no place for sharp-edged marble counters or a built-in koi pond!
